There are many reasons to celebrate and entertain, so when you choose a caterer the food is only one dimension. You need exceptional service and unique style to create a memorable event. You and your guests should thoroughly enjoy yourselves, so Delecta offers what we call gracious hospitality. It is beyond the normal level of service.
Over the past 15 years we’ve had the privilege of catering thousands of social, business and charitable events in Southwest Florida. Our gracious service begins with a one hour meeting. Once you have decided on the location and date, we invite you and three of your guests to sample a variety of our menu items. We want to get to know you and understand your vision and plans for the event.
Two weeks prior to your function you will meet with an event coordinator at your location. We help you orchestrate your special event. We determine a floor plan, an agenda, obtain a list of all your vendors and assist with the logistics of your event. Delecta serves as your event coordinator as well as your caterer on the day of the function. We are responsible for set-up, service and clean-up of the catered food and beverage items. Our professional and hospitable wait staff will provide you with excellent service during your function.
We offer you a choice of the four unique buffet styles that are designed in different themes. The buffet table is skirted and draped with linens and accented with an elegant centerpiece.
Whether you are planning an informal gathering or an elaborate event, every function has a unique style. The colors and decor as well as the cuisine are important to creating your special event. We want to provide food and service that is consistent with the style you envision for your function.

Delecta considers it a privilege to serve you and help you create the event of your dreams. We will help you understand the costs and show you how to achieve your goals for an event within your budget. There are separate charges for food based on the menu you select. You start by selecting a classic buffet, theme buffet or culinary stations. Then you can further personalize your menu by adding on additional a la carte items: entrees, carving stations, culinary stations, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, beverages, etc.
The charge for wait staff is separate. As with most caterers, our service fees are calculated based on the number of guests attending your event and whether the food is served on plastic ware or china. Delecta charges the standard rate in this region of $25 per hour per staff person. We require a minimum of 60 guests for any event we cater.
China, glassware and utensils are rented separately. If you elect to use plastic ware, we have a variety of different styles to choose from, and you are charged accordingly. Many customers use a combination of plastic ware and china to minimize the cost.
A state sales tax fee of 6% for food, labor and any additional charges will be added to all orders. A gratuity is appreciated, but always optional.
